Abstract

The article discusses the detailed methodology for designing irrigation systems, determining the irrigation regime, and optimizing the hydromodule schedule for a forest nursery. The research object is a 23-hectare nursery divided into four main sections. Based on soil-climatic parameters and active layer depth, irrigation norms and hydromodules were calculated for each section.

Analysis of the uncompleted hydromodule schedule showed a peak discharge of 0.508 l/s/ha. Through optimal rescheduling of irrigation periods, the maximum hydromodule was reduced to 0.300 l/s/ha (a 41% reduction), and the maximum water intake (Q_gross) of the farm decreased from 156 l/s to 93 l/s.
