The article reveals the psychological and pedagogical conditions that ensure the formation and promotion of a professionally-oriented educational trajectory for students of a pedagogical university. The essence of professionally-oriented educational trajectory as an individual path of professional development for future teachers is clarified, and the role of the university's educational environment in its design is determined. The results of the diagnosis of the learning motivation of 3rd- and 4th-year students are presented, showing differences in the intensity of professional and educational-cognitive motives. The need to strengthen professional orientation, develop independence, and form readiness for a conscious choice of a professional path is justified. The organisational and psychological conditions that contribute to the development of professionally-oriented educational trajectory are described, including tutoring, counselling support, and the activities of the ‘School of the Future Teacher’.
