Research purpose is to evaluate the effectiveness of various project management methodologies in addressing the unique challenges of web application development and develops an integrated framework optimizing project outcomes in this specific domain. A 2023 Standish Group CHAOS report revealed that only 35% of web application projects using traditional methodologies were delivered successfully, compared to 58% using Agile approaches – yet significant inconsistencies exist in implementation approaches and outcomes across organizational contexts, indicating the need for a more nuanced understanding of methodology selection and adaptation. Research contributes to the scientific discourse by providing the first comprehensive empirical analysis of project management methodologies specifically in web application contexts, drawing on data from 47 projects across multiple sectors. It establishes quantifiable relationships between methodological approaches and performance outcomes through multivariate analysis of 23 project metrics. The study develops a novel integrated framework tailored to web application development challenges, validated through both retrospective analysis and prospective implementation in three organizations
