General biological concepts of the healing processes and formation of cicatricial defects of the eyelids

Abstract

Despite the fairly wide range of applied methods of surgical treatment of severe cicatricial defects of the eyelids, in order to exclude its multi-stage nature, to achieve high efficiency and reasonable cost-effectiveness, in recent years preference has been given to intensively developing methods of one-stage complex eyelid plastic surgery, which allow to reduce the number of operations, anesthesia, as well as the duration of postoperative rehabilitation.
