Abstract

Modern art and cultural life are impossible without the participation of young people. It is the younger generation that brings fresh ideas, new forms and technologies to culture today, and cultural and leisure organizations are becoming spaces where it is possible to realize this. As a master's student in art management, I am daily confronted with how important it is to properly manage cultural projects, especially when it comes to youth initiatives. In this article, I would like to share my observations and analysis of how youth project activity in the field of culture is developing in Kazakhstan, what conditions have been created for this and what else can be improved.

The modern cultural space of Kazakhstan is undergoing active transformations, with the younger generation at the center. The role of youth in the field of art and culture is of particular importance not only in the context of artistic development, but also as an indicator of sustainable social progress. Youth projects in cultural and leisure organizations represent a specific form of self-organization and art innovation, creating conditions for creative self-realization and the involvement of young people in cultural construction. From 2020 to 2025, large-scale efforts were made in Kazakhstan to support such initiatives, which requires scientific analysis from the perspective of art management as a new management paradigm in culture.
