Abstract

The main focus of the research on this topic is on how investments in human capital have a significant impact on the socio-economic development of various regions of the country. China was chosen as the object of the study. This article examines the essence of human capital, its components, as well as the impact of investments in healthcare, education and the development of professional skills on labor productivity growth and competitiveness. Special attention is paid to the analysis of the relationship between the inventive potential and the quality of human capital, which contribute to the development of a sustainable economy and social stability.In addition to identifying the main problems and obstacles faced by China's regions in this process, the study offers examples of effective approaches to attracting investment in human capital
