Abstract

This paper discusses the management of computer networks and the key technologies used in this field. Network management is based on three fundamental principles: monitoring, control, and optimization. Technologies such as SNMP and SDN are widely employed to ensure efficient data transmission and proper management of network resources. Network security is also a crucial issue, addressed through the application of firewalls, IDS/IPS systems, and security protocols. Additionally, artificial intelligence and machine learning offer innovative solutions in network management, improving both performance and security. Modern network management plays a significant role in both education and research, and it is expected to evolve further in the future
