Abstract

The article is devoted to the study of the potential of medicinal plants of Northern Kazakhstan — sweet clover (Melilotus officinalis), purslane (Portulaca oleracea) and St. John's wort (Hypericum perforatum L.) — to create functional food products. Their vitamin composition and prospects of in vitro cultivation are considered. Studies have shown a high content of vitamins (including C and B groups), minerals. The results confirm the suitability of plants for the development of innovative food products
