Abstract

This article analyses the evolution of China's trade policy toward the United States, focusing on strategic shifts influenced by the intensifying U.S.-China hi-tech rivalry. The study uses qualitative content analysis and case study methodology to assess how China's trade strategies have changed, particularly after key events such as the U.S.-China trade war and restrictions on Chinese tech giants. A real case study of Huawei illustrates China's adaptive strategies in response to U.S. sanctions. The article incorporates statistical tables to support findings and includes references from authoritative global sources. The discussion highlights the broader economic and geopolitical implications, concluding that China's trade policy has become increasingly strategic and diversified, balancing national security with global integration
