In the early 1990s, following the collapse of the Soviet Union, several countries, including the Turkic states of Central Asia and the South Caucasus republics, gained the opportunity to achieve their independence. Seizing this opportunity, the states of both regions initially focused on developing political-diplomatic, trade-economic, and cultural-humanitarian cooperation with neighboring countries as well as with other former Soviet Union states, aiming to improve their internal and external situations through a variety of initiatives.
This article discusses the cooperation between Armenia and, in particular, Kazakhstan, highlighting the meetings held and the agreements signed between the two countries.
