Abstract

The integration of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) has brought transformative changes to the teaching and learning of foreign languages. This study examines the impact of ICT on foreign language education, highlighting its role in enhancing learners' engagement, accessibility to resources, and personalized learning experiences. Utilizing tools such as virtual classrooms, language learning applications, and artificial intelligence-driven platforms, ICT has shown significant potential to improve learners’ cognitive processing and language proficiency. The analysis draws on  quantitative data, including case studies of ICT-based methodologies implemented in university settings. The findings underscore that ICT not only supports interactive learning environments but also mitigates challenges like traditional classroom limitations. The study recommends further exploration into ICT's role in diverse educational contexts and its implications for teaching strategies, emphasizing the importance of teacher training and infrastructure development for maximizing its benefits in foreign language education.
