Abstract

The article attempts to retrospectively analyze the genesis of the concept of information society through the main concepts and their philosophical meaning. The author reveals the essence of information and communication reality as an interdisciplinary integrative concept. A critical analysis of private scientific methodological approaches is conducted. A number of conclusions are made, including the polyparadigmality of the general methodological approach of the post-non-classical stage of modern science, the fundamental diversity of scientific methods and their classification, the invariance of the main structural units of scientific knowledge
