Abstract

“The experience of Kazakhstan and France in deradicalization and rehabilitation of extremists” is an article that examines the approaches taken by both countries to combat radicalization and extremism. The article highlights the unique experiences and strategies of Kazakhstan and France, providing valuable insights and lessons for other governments and policymakers to consider. The article delves into the multifaceted approach adopted by Kazakhstan, including education, social and economic support, and counseling and psychological support, and how it has been praised for its effectiveness in preventing the spread of extremism. The article also explores the initiatives implemented by France, such as community engagement, education, and counseling programs, as well as the establishment of specialized centers for individuals at risk of radicalization.

Overall, the article emphasizes the importance of a comprehensive approach to deradicalization and rehabilitation, addressing the root causes of extremism and providing support to individuals to successfully reintegrate back into society. The insights provided by the experiences of Kazakhstan and France have the potential to inform and shape the development of more effective and sustainable strategies for preventing radicalization and promoting social cohesion.
