Abstract

The field of English literary education has witnessed radical changes because of the rapid development of technology and innovations in learning. Even as traditional literary pieces continue to play an important part in literary education, the way in which these pieces are accessed, examined, and interpreted has changed dramatically. This paper explores how technology has impacted the teaching of English literary education in higher education institutions by examining the role of technology and innovation in learning. Through an analysis of traditional learning principles, technology integration, innovation in learning approaches, and challenges, it emerges that there should be a way forward that strikes a balance between literary studies and innovations in learning.
