Abstract

This essay discusses the essentials of security in IoT like the protection of data transfer and storage. The proliferation of IoT (Internet of Things) systems across different industries is reshaping how industries work, health care, smart homes and cities. But a challenge is in the increase in devices connected will pose major cybersecurity risks in terms of data confidentiality, integrity, and availability. The study of contemporary security threats in IoT ecosystems, analysis of existing countermeasures, and suggestions for new measures make use of AI and ML technologies Results highlight the need for responsive smart security systems to detect and prevent attacks in the IoT environment beforehand
