Abstract

This article investigates how modern educational technologies foster critical thinking in primary school students within foreign language lessons at secondary schools. As digital transformation reshapes educational practices, there is an urgent need to align language instruction with cognitive development. Drawing from recent pedagogical studies and digital learning models, this article explores how tools such as adaptive learning platforms, gamification, augmented reality (AR), and digital storytelling cultivate analytical thinking, reflection, and creativity. The findings highlight that technology, when integrated with intention and pedagogy, supports not only communicative competence but also the broader intellectual growth of language learners
