Abstract

The article illustrates different views and approaches to translation procedures, strategies and methods put forward  by well-known linguists and scholars.  Some linguists classify the translation process from linguistic viewpoint while others approach the matter from cultural point of view. Besides, there is also a cognitive approach to translation procedures.
