Abstract

The processes of integration taking place in the modern world, without a doubt, create the basis for the strengthening of the interaction of cultures, and lead to the emergence of common features to a noticeable extent. The main stage of the research of the mentioned direction is the conducting of scientific discussions that lead to the publication of problem-thematic collections, monographs, short essays on the culture of the peoples of the East, which creates a great foundation for raising the theoretical level of Oriental studies in general.

In 1966, N.I. Konrad successfully implemented the idea of the unity of the world history and cultural process of integration of cultures after the publication of his fundamental work "West and East". In both the West and the East, strongly rejecting the common notion of the ≪closure≫ of local civilizations, N.I.Konrad reveals ways to solve the spatial limitation between national cultures.
