ARCHITECTURE AND ENERGY MANAGEMENT MODEL OF AN IoT-BASED SMART HOME SYSTEM
Keywords:
IoT, smart home, energy management, optimizationAbstract
This article presents a multi-layer architecture and an energy management model for smart home systems based on IoT technologies. The proposed system has a modular structure and consists of device, gateway, communication, computing, and application layers. The energy management model is based on the principles of time-based integration of power and optimization of user comfort.
The model operates based on real-time data and forecasting mechanisms, enabling a 20–30% reduction in energy consumption. The proposed approach enhances the adaptability and scalability of IoT systems [1], [2].
