Abstract

The article discusses topical issues related to the implementation and use of artificial intelligence (AI) technologies in the modern educational process. The modern education system is undergoing a period of profound digital transformation caused by the rapid development of innovative technologies, among which artificial intelligence occupies a special place. Its impact on education is complex, covering both the content of teaching materials and approaches to teaching, as well as the organisational structures of the educational process. The potential of AI for personalising learning, improving its effectiveness and quality, and transforming the role of the teacher is analysed. Particular attention is paid to the challenges and risks associated with the introduction of AI into educational activities, such as the need to develop new competencies among teachers and the ethical aspects of its application
