Abstract

In the era of digitalization of the global economy, tourism is becoming one of the key industries where the introduction of digital technologies is changing approaches to management, organization and provision of tourist services.

The use of big data, online platforms, mobile applications, artificial intelligence systems and "smart" travel solutions helps to increase the competitiveness of tourist facilities, ensure a high level of service and the formation of sustainable tourism ecosystems.

However, the speed and effectiveness of digital transformation depend on the institutional, economic and cultural characteristics of a particular territory.

Beijing and Almaty are major tourist centers in countries with global development models and government support for innovation.
