The contemporary landscape of foreign language education (FLE) is undergoing a significant transformation driven by digitalization. While traditional methods remain foundational, the integration of digital resources presents new paradigms for enhancing student engagement and linguistic proficiency. This paper provides an analytical review of current literature to explore the multifaceted role of digital tools in FLE. It investigates how various resources from mobile applications to immersive platforms impact key areas such as vocabulary acquisition, communicative competence, and learner autonomy. The analysis reveals that digital resources offer unparalleled access to authentic language and culture, fostering a more personalized and motivating learning environment. However, the paper also identifies critical challenges, including the need for strategic pedagogical integration, issues of digital equity, and the evolving role of the instructor. The conclusion emphasizes that technology is not a replacement for effective teaching but a powerful amplifier, and it calls for a balanced approach where digital tools are thoughtfully aligned with pedagogical goals to maximize their potential in the language classroom.
