Abstract

Modern universities operate in an environment of increasing autonomy, increasing competition, digitalization, and increasing demands for performance and accountability. In recent years, Kazakhstan has been actively introducing elements of corporate governance into the higher education system: boards of directors, specialized committees, internal audit and strategic planning services are being created. The subject of the study is the mechanisms of interaction between the strategic, financial and academic management bodies at the L.N. Gumilyov ENU, as well as the conditions for increasing their consistency and effectiveness.
