Prospects for the use of artificial intelligence in the development of reading and writing skills in English

This article explores the emerging potential of artificial intelligence (AI) in developing reading and writing skills among English language learners. The paper highlights the advantages of AI-based educational tools such as adaptive feedback, personalized learning paths, and AI-generated texts. It also analyzes current global practices and proposes a practical framework for integrating AI technologies in EFL (English as a Foreign Language) classrooms. Based on pedagogical research and experimental classroom observations, the article identifies both opportunities and challenges associated with AI-enhanced language instruction.
