Systemic and Multidisciplinary Proposals for Eliminating Bullying in Regional Education
Abstract
The current regional education system is undergoing dynamic changes that, alongside technological and pedagogical progress, are also bringing about an escalation of negative social phenomena. Among the most pressing problems facing today’s educational institutions is the high rate of psychopathological and sociopathological phenomena in student behavior. These negative manifestations explicitly manifest themselves in the school environment through diverse forms of aggression, verbal and physical assault, cyberbullying, ostracism, and other types of targeted bullying. Bullying can no longer be viewed as an isolated or marginal conflict among students; it is a complex and destructive socio-psychological process that fatally undermines the integrity of the school climate and has profound implications for society as a whole.
