Abstract

The article elaborates the challenges in translation process in Azerbaijani and English. These challenges can encompass linguistic, cultural and cognitive aspects. Grammatical  difference can be due to word order and the form of language. Azerbaijani is an agglutinative language though English  is analytical. This can show itself  in plural forms, case declensions, and tense forms. Cultural aspects plays a vital role in understanding and developing the language input. As obvious, cultures differ because of the religion, habits and customs. Sourcing from these varieties and factors, concepts  can also change.
