Abstract

Currently, one of the main goals of higher education is the professional and personal development of a specialist and the development of his competitiveness as a competent specialist [1], [2]. Achieving this goal will allow an individual to successfully solve the problems of employment, professional adaptation, socialization in the conditions of the growth of knowledge-intensive industries. However, teaching physics to students at universities today has no theoretical justification from the point of view of education focused on the industrial and technical sphere. In particular, the issues of the need to train future physicists in the field of tribology and the formation of their professional competencies in this field have not been resolved.
