Abstract

Introduced trees and shrubs are an important component of the urban environment. They bring not only aesthetic pleasure, but also contribute to the creation of green areas, improving the environment and improving the quality of life of citizens.

The city of Astana is located in a continental climate zone with characteristic sharp variability of weather conditions and well-defined seasons [1]. Introduced trees and shrubs have many benefits in urban environments. They can improve air quality, provide shade and remove street dust. In addition, such plants can serve as an architectural decoration of the city and create a favorable atmosphere for rest and relaxation.

The purpose of the work is to consider the significance of introduced trees and shrubs in the urban environment, using the example of Astana.
