Economic security of the country as a strategic priority in the context of global transformation

Abstract

The article examines the role of economic security in the national security system, analyzes the reflection of the issues of economic security in the strategic documents of states, as well as methods of ensuring it. The role of economic security in changing the country's place in the system of world relations is determined in the context of: global transformation, characterized by increased struggle for the redistribution of power positions in the world system, taking place against the background of the transition to industry; aggravation of global problems of our time (increasing hunger, epidemics, environmental degradation); the growing unevenness of the development of countries, the unwinding of the spiral of the arms race. It is shown that ensuring a high level of economic security of a country is an important condition for maintaining and/or increasing its level in the system of relations.
