This paper explores the critical role of flight simulators in modern aviation training. As aircraft operation relies heavily on procedural accuracy, simulators provide an affordable and efficient platform for mastering procedural discipline, instrument proficiency, and checklist flow. Although they lack the physical fidelity of real aircraft in terms of maneuver sensation and landing feel, simulators like AATD, Redbird, and Frasca offer significant advantages in repetition, scenario training, and UPRT (Upset Prevention and Recovery Training). This study emphasizes how integrating simulation early in flight instruction strengthens pilot decision-making and enhances overall aviation safety.
