In today’s media-saturated world, digital technologies play a crucial role in developing intercultural communicative competence in foreign language teaching. By integrating text, audio, video, animation, and interactive resources, digital tools transform learning into a selective, goal-oriented, analytical, and synthetic cognitive activity. They foster critical thinking, independent learning, and problem-solving skills while allowing learners to engage with authentic cultural materials. Through personalized, learner-centered digital environments, students gain autonomy in managing their learning process, selecting and organizing content, and applying it in meaningful intercultural contexts. The dual-channel presentation of information and multi-sensory engagement supports language acquisition, retention, and comprehension, while promoting creativity, adaptability, and collaborative skills. This study highlights the transformative potential of digital technologies as instruments for enhancing both linguistic proficiency and intercultural competence in contemporary foreign language education.
