Abstract

This article discusses the main information sources used for food security assessment. For assessing physical accessibility, data from the World Bank on food production indices, as well as the share of food imports and exports, can be utilized. To evaluate economic accessibility, data on income directed towards consumption, adjusted for the exchange rate, can be applied.
