Abstract

This article explores the critical role of parental involvement in promoting psychological security among adolescents in the digital age. It highlights the various forms of parental engagement, including active communication, emotional support, and the establishment of boundaries related to screen time and content. Successful models of parental involvement, such as family engagement programs, digital literacy workshops, and peer support initiatives, are examined for their positive impacts on adolescent well-being. By fostering strong parent-child relationships and encouraging positive digital interactions, parents can significantly mitigate the risks associated with online engagement. The article concludes with a call to action for educators and parents to collaborate in creating environments that prioritize adolescent mental well-being, emphasizing the importance of proactive strategies that support youth as they navigate the complexities of a digitally connected world.
