HOW TO TEACH A FOREIGH LANGUAGE THROUGH CLT

Abstract

            The article elaborates the tips and competences of the Communicative language teaching method. Besides, instructional materials that are used in foreign language learning through CLT have been overviewed in the article. Some specific merits and demerits belonging to the  CLT have been scrutinized in the study, as well. It has been noted that the usage of mother tongue while learning a foreign language is neglected. This method is a learner-centered method. This method motivates the students to learn grammar and speak fluently despite grammar mistakes.
