Abstract

Everyone has a place where they were born that will be considered native and sacred to them. For me, that place is Ayagoz. The history of Ayagoz dates back to the 18 century. If we recall a long history, it is said that the merciless battles of our people with the Dzungarian invaders took place on the territory. This is the border of the Dzungarian and Kazakh khanates. In my hometown, there are many shrines with a deep history. Among them we will stop at the grave of the Kazakh hero and commander Shynkozha Bazarkululy, who fought against the Jongar invasion, Dulat Babatayuly, one of the prominent figures in the history of Kazakh literature, and two lovers Kozy Korpesh and Bayan Sulu, who today have become symbols of eternal love. Our goal in this article is to get acquainted with the holy places of the Ayagoz district, the famous country of the sages and the abode of heroes. Also in the article we will talk about the sacred objects of the region, rich in cultural monuments and historical symbols.
