HEYDAR ALİYEV AND STATE-RELİGİON RELATİONS

Abstract

Heydar Aliyev is a great personality and an unattainable gem for our people, our Motherland, the entire Turkic world, and the Islamic world. Heydar Aliyev is not only a great statesman, social and political figure, but also a national-minded person who loves and protects the language, religion, and traditions of his native people. In general, there is no religionless people. Religion has existed in all times of human society. Religion cannot be erased from people's hearts. Of course, our people have been believing in Islam for centuries. Although Islam, which the people of Azerbaijan believe in, is a new religion, it has spread over a very large area.

The great leader Heydar Aliyev has always grasped the idea of religion, our national existence on the national-spiritual ground as a phenomenon that forms the basis of our cultural existence, and took steps in the direction of imagining Islam as a culture.
