In educational psychology, teaching models are important because they show how learning happens and what kind of role the teacher and the students should have in the classroom. A teaching model is a plan or method that helps the teacher decide how to present information, organise activities, and guide student learning. Two main teaching models are often discussed by researchers: the teacher-based model and the student-based model. Each model has its own ideas, strengths, and limitations. Understanding these models is important for teachers and future educators because it helps them make better decisions in the learning process. This article explains both models in simple but academic language and uses ideas from important educational theorists. The aim of this study is to examine these two concepts in education and its effects on learning processes
