Abstract

This article examines the political landscape following the 2018 "Velvet revolution." The article exposes the characteristics of Nikol Pashinyan's rule and highlights the emerging trends in Armenia's political situation. It is determined that the country's authoritarian inclinations developed because of the new leadership's inability to alter the internal political landscape. The fact that N. Pashinyan wants to dominate the political landscape of the nation and take complete control of all arms of government is underlined.
