Exploration of the motivational strategies of English teachers in Kazakh classroom
Abstract
This article aims to explore using motivational strategies by English teachers and discuss the theories of motivation on the impact of teachers on students’ motivation. There are several research works, suggesting that teachers’ responsibility is in promoting and keeping learners’ motivation in the process of learning. This article can be considered as one of them. This study focuses on using motivational strategies of English teachers from different region of Kazakhstan. They were from state and private, urban and rural schools. The method of the study is Qualitative Research method. For data collection used interview. Findings make a number of suggestions for young teachers. The most and the least teaching strategies shown by English teachers. This research is important for stakeholders who are concern on motivating students
