Abstract

Kazakh universities participate in the Bologna Process and try to improve the quality of education to an international level through the implementation of the EMI educational system. Many universities in Kazakhstan have already successfully trained an overwhelming number of highly qualified personnel. However, often undergraduate students, being non-native English speakers, may experience difficulties in the process of obtaining a degree: insufficient knowledge, the difference in the use of language in the workplace, the high cost of preparatory English courses and the low level of English teaching in schools, psychological barriers. Despite the fact that Kazakhstan offers training on the QEMU system, the existing disadvantages can be eradicated over time.
