RELIGION FACTOR IN WORLD HISTORY: ON THE EXAMPLE OF WORLD RELIGIONS

Abstract

The article is devoted to the consideration of the factor of religion, which is an integral part of the history of society: The article emphasizes that in all socio-economic formations there were social factors that influenced the development of the religious consciousness of people. It is concluded that as long as the social roots of religion exist in society, religion will not disappear. As the social environment changes, religion also changes. Religion determines the world outlook of a person and his activity. The importance of religion in solving the vital tasks of society, its unconditional predetermination by specific socio-economic, historical and cultural conditions is emphasized. Emphasis is placed on the role of religion as the ideological basis of a centralized state and the contribution of world religions in the formation of statehood
