Abstract

This article will be useful to psychologists and medical professionals interested in the problem of combating chronic stress, developing resilience and coping behavior in patients.

Diabetes mellitus is a chronic disease that requires constant attention to blood glucose levels, dietary restrictions and regular medical monitoring. Psychological well-being and ability to cope with the challenges associated with the diagnosis play an important role in managing the disease. In this article we will study the level of chronic stress characteristic of patients with diabetes, and also analyze its impact on the course of the disease.

Through a theoretical analysis of current research, the authors confirmed the importance of the level of chronic stress, optimal coping behavior and increased resilience for patients with diabetes.
