G.N.BISENOVA: “ALL THE COLORS OF MUSIC”...

Abstract

“All the colors of music” is the title of the article which was published in May 1983 (i.e. 40 years ago) and dedicated by Gafura Nurgalievna to the composition, which was performed the day before, on the day of the grand opening of the 7th Congress of Composers of Kazakhstan, giving “The joy of meeting with a great art” (we are talking about the Concerto for trumpet and symphony orchestra by E.Rakhmadiev).

I’ll draw the attention to two short theses: “In the interpretation of the images of the concert and in their development, E.Rakhmadiev remains true to his creative principles: to express significant ideas by clear, concise means. The choice of the theme, form of the work and means of musical expression are subject to this” (my italics – A.O.). Moreover, the choice of the famous song “Altybasar” as the main thematic image, in her opinion, “is very natural, because […] the melodic profile contains pathetic, appealing intonations, which can be organically and diversifiedly revealed by technical capabilities of the solo instrument...” (let's add: and the interpreter.
