ON THE ISSUE OF ASSESSING THE POSSIBILITY OF USING RENEWABLE ENERGY IN DISTRIBUTED HEAT SUPPLY SYSTEMS
Keywords:
combined heat supply schemes, renewable energy sources, solar collectorsAbstract
This article presents brief results on one of the issues of assessing the efficiency of using renewable energy sources based on solar collectors in a combined heat supply scheme based on a hot-water boiler. As the main issue of the study, the issue of feasibility study of the efficiency of the use of collectors and calculation of the contribution of RES to the share of generated thermal energy on a specific example is posed. It is shown that the efficiency of using solar collectors in this case makes it possible to completely replace traditional sources of generation in the summer, but loses efficiency to the level of 10-20% efficiency in transitional and winter periods. Nevertheless, it is possible to increase the potential of using solar collectors when optimizing the scheme by selecting the minimum boiler room capacity, determining operating modes, and further combining the heat supply scheme with other generation sources and energy storage.
