The purpose of this study is to analyze the breadth of research carried out on the use of Duolingo for Learning English. English is a skill-focused language, therefore mastering it completely calls for the application of a variety of methods and approaches. Modern schooling has been greatly impacted by technological advancements. Using technology to overcome challenges that come up during the English language learning process is a contemporary method. Duolingo is a mobile language learning platform that continuously seeks to innovate language learning techniques in the field of English acquisition. The research's authors addressed a number of viewpoints that advocate for raising students' technological literacy while they study English. This article's goal is to demonstrate the writers' approach to English language learning through mobile application. According to study, using contemporary technologies to enhance language learners' abilities efficiently boosts their proficiency. Hence, the subject of Duolingo merits discussion as a tool for reflection that gives language learners a chance to evaluate their abilities and identify their teaching strengths and weaknesses. This article examined prior studies on the topic and examined how Duolingo app is employed in learning language. As a result, this research examines the GHOST literature, encompassing multiple studies that elucidate its impact on language instruction. This studies of Garcia (2012), Munday (2016), Syahputra (2019), Mahfuddin M. et al (2023) and etc. were considered in the paper.
