STRUCTURAL FEATURES AND SEMANTIC FORMATION OF POETIC DISCOURSE
Keywords:

The study examines the formation of poetic discourse, which is viewed as a complex formation with both structural and semantic components, encompassing an axiological system and a specific functional perspective. Discourse types are based on conceptual systems, which represent significant axiological categories within a given discourse. These concepts are inherently linked to socio-cultural factors and reflect the ways in which objects are viewed and understood. The linguistic representation of concepts is closely tied to the material, spiritual, and social culture to which they pertain, and is also influenced by linguistic and pragmatic factors. The study analyzes works of fiction to illustrate how concepts are formed and to demonstrate how the structure of a text can influence its content. Individual concepts are also identified. The study concludes that the structure and semantics of a concept determine the features and functions of poetic discourse. Contextual and linguistic-hermeneutic methods are used to analyze the texts, and the findings of the research can be applied to training courses in language theory, discourse theory, stylistics, text interpretation, and theory and practice of translation.
