NETWORK COMMUNICATION – MULTIMEDIA COMPONENT OF EDUCATION PROCESS

Abstract

At the present stage of development, one of the most important peculiarities of our society is its susceptibility to the influence of information technology, which can be found in all areas of human activity. They form a global information space and provide information exchange in society. Every year, the multimedia and technical capabilities of various devices are increasing; reliability and speed are growing when transmitting data over wireless channels. Mobile devices have become the most convenient tool for gaining access to any information, including educational information; however, students are not sufficiently aware of the probable educational capabilities of smartphones and tablet computers. Mostly mobile devices and computer equipment are used as a means of communication and entertainment. Nevertheless, the use of mobile devices, and in particular Internet applications, can be a great way to develop motivation, which is the main condition for the success of the educational process. That is why the search for new non-traditional ways to increase the motivation and involvement of students in the educational process is an urgent methodological problem. This article dwells on the main features of the use of modern computer technology in the process of English language learning.
