Abstract

With the increasing interest in specialists with a profound knowledge of the English language, the need to prepare undergraduate students for future market demands is observed. The educators are motivated to adapt the methodology of English language teaching in order to meet the needs of such learners. Therefore, the need to understand the exact goals and problems appearing in the process of teaching foreign language in non-linguistic specialties are important to understand. Moreover, the measures taken by higher education institutions and teachers should be analyzed. The article is aimed at investigating the experience of  English language instructors and learners, as well as the challenges they meet when working on the goal of acquiring the language at the desired level. The researcher also focuses on outlining the solutions developed by educators to deal with such problems or prevent them from appearing.
