Abstract

This article deals with the ways onomastic units are used in recent poetry. In Western Azerbaijan, the names of places of residence that were lost as a result of Armenian occupation found their reflection in poetic language. M. Guseynov's “Goycha Lake” is a case in point, and it expresses a longing for Goycha by making use of specific geographical names.
