Abstract

The tourism sector is one of the fastest growing industries in the world, but at the same time it is highly sensitive to various political, economic, technogenic, pandemic risks and threats. it should be noted that both negative (result of risk factors) and positive (anti-crisis management system) results are practically instantaneous.

Crisis situations have a major impact on the global tourism industry. A crisis is manifested as an event or circumstance that seriously damages the market potential of tourism and at the same time the reputation of a tourist destination/region. Based on the above, crisis management is an important component of systematic management in the tourism and hospitality industry, which should be adequately used by public and private, as well as large, medium and small businesses, However, wrong identification, assessment and management of risks can lead to major problems of any magnitude. However, today's reality, both on an international and national scale, proves the opposite and has become a daily occurrence for the modern world. Thus, this research is even more relevant than ever.
